Flowers in Bloom

Cannington Court had the pleasure of hosting the Southwest in Bloom judges.

Cannington village put on its best floral displays for the Royal Horticultural Society’s Southwest in Bloom competition.  The judges visited Cannington in July and were treated to a guided tour around the village, which looked beautiful!

The judges were welcomed to the village at Blackmore Farm before being shown a range of displays and sustainable planting created by the Cannington in Bloom volunteers and students at Brymore Academy.

Steve Pettitt, acting chair of Cannington in Bloom and also a member of the EDF team at Cannington Court thanked all the volunteers and the Parish Council for their hard work and commitment to enhancing the village environment.

The tour finished with a visit to the stunning Walled Gardens of Cannington and well-earned refreshments at the impressive Cannington Court, an impressive Grade 1 listed Conference and Events Venue courtesy of EDF.

A great day was enjoyed by all.
